THIS WAS THE FIRST SINGER MADE EXCLUSIVELY FOR ELECTRIC USE. NOTE THE POTTED MOTOR ON THE BACK SIDE.

THIS IS A CAST IRON VERSION, AN ALUMINUM HEAD WAS ALSO MADE.

THIS IS CONSIDERED BY SOME AS THE BEST SINGER MADE

BECAUSE OF THE FULL ROTARY MOTION IT IS QUIET AND HAS FEWER VIBRATIONS THAN THE OSCILLATING HOOK MACHINES

 


201-1 is a treadle (no matter where it was made)
 201-2 is geared machine with potted motor
 201-3 is the machine with the external motor and belt
 201-4 is a handcrank (Original Not Converted)
